What Jill did last night...

Things have been busy lately and I've kind of fallen into a creative rut.  While I haven't really been making anything I HAVE been playing around with some watercolors, pencils, and Distress Oxide Inks.  Here is some of the paper I have created...

I used Prismacolor Colored Pencils and a smudge tool for this sleepy fox.  Need more practice, but this was fun!

I used some Metallic Watercolor Paints for this bookmark.  It's hard to see the glimmer in this photo, but in person it came out really nice!

I was bored one night and really wanted to draw something so I drew this owl.  Then I didn't know what to do with him!  So, I created this background with distress inks in my mixed media art journal and glued him in.  I found the saying and wrote it in.  He needs a little fixing up, but I will do that another day!

I just couldn't get a photo to do these tags justice.  In person the colors are just so so pretty!  These were made with distress oxide inks and then I stamped the images.  The tag with french script is embossed.

This is just another page in my mixed media art journal.  Trying out different techniques.  Its fun and relaxing!!
